How to sync / map a new user between InsideSales and SalesForce
You will need to do three things in order to properly sync a new user with IS.com and SF.com.
A.) After you’ve added the employee to InsideSales, you will need to map the users in InsideSales. To do this:
1. Click on the Admin tab in InsideSales
2. Click on Manage Employees
3. Click on Map Salesforce Users
4. Map the users on the left in InsideSales to the dropdown on the right of Salesforce users. Note: Users must be mapped on a one-to-one basis.
B.) You will also need to enter the SalesForce username and password for the new employee in their InsideSales employee record. To do this:
1. Click on the Admin tab in InsideSales
2. Click on Manage Employees
3. Click on Edit An Employee
4. Click on the name of the employee
5. Click the Edit button at the top
6. Enter the SalesForce Username and Password at the bottom right of the page
7. Click Save
C.) You will then need to enter the user’s InsideSales username and password in their SalesForce employee record.
