Admin Basics
Site administration is an interesting collection of skills. It combines a lot of the basic “how’s” of basic system usage with a smattering of database management, with a bit of common sense logic and statistics thrown in for reporting.
If this doesn't sound like the job you signed up for when you became a site administrator, don't fret; the vast majority of site administration can be handled by understanding just a few key terms and concepts, and using some basic common sense.
We do assume a basic level of comfort with personal computer systems, Web browsing, and at least a marginal understanding of a basic spreadsheet application like Microsoft© Excel™. In some instances, some cursory knowledge of HTML editing comes in handy, but is not required.
More than anything else, however, to truly maximize the potential of InsideSales.com™ you need to understand your own company internal processes, and be able to identify the key actions and events that make your company "tick." Without a clear understanding of this, administrating the InsideSales.com system is going to be much more difficult.
