Basic Site Navigation

As a Web-based software application, InsideSales.com™ should look and feel fairly similar to a standard Web page.

Most navigation points use hyperlinks to move to the various areas of the system, just like a Web page. Many menus and fields will use drop-down style options, since they are easier to select and make changes using just the mouse. Obviously, some fields and menus will still require text entry.

Since the application is Web-based, any changes made to a file or function MUST be saved and posted to the server, or they will be lost. You will want to quickly get used to the Edit / Save paradigm to safely keep data stored and in order.

Basic navigation tabs

After logging in, the main tabs across the top of each page provide the basic navigation points between the various areas of the system. Each tab represents a group of tools and functions related to that stage of the business process. Depending on how your site has been configured, the system may have as many as thirteen tabs, or as few as two (or one).
