Files Tab

The Files tab is a central storage vault where users can store common company files and make them easily accessible to everyone. In many places in the system, the vault will be referred to as “The Files Repository.”

Functionally, the Files tab is nearly identical to a basic operating system files folder, where you can create folders and sub-folders. Users can also set very specific security restrictions on specific files and folders if the data housed in those areas should not be publicly available.

Several system tools, including data backups, the Search Export tool, and the Call Recording feature will use the Files tab to store data for future retrieval.

The Files tab also acts as a holding tank for email attachments that may go out with your company’s email templates.
