Creating a Web Form
The only required fields are the blue ones. The rest are all optional.
- Name - Enter the name of your webform here.
- Object Type - Whether you want this to be a lead or a contact.
- Height - How tall the form will be in pixels.
- Layouts - Select which layout you want to use for your form. For help building a new layout click here.
- Duplicate Campaign - Any duplicate lead that the system finds will put them into the selected campaign.
- ACD - Sets the ACD that the lead will be assigned to.
- Email Template - Allows you to select an email template that will automatically be sent to the user when they sign up.
- Owner - Sets the owner of the new lead. Leave this field blank if you don't want the lead assigned to an employee.
- Submit Button Text - Sets the text that the submit button will display.
- Width - Sets the width of the form.
- IVR - Sets the ICR that the lead will be assigned to.
- Duplicate Basis - This field checks for duplicate leads based on the criteria that you select. To select more than one choice hold the CTRL button down while clicking. This is based on an AND condition, meaning that all fields must be exactly the same for it to mark as a duplicate. We recommend just using the phone field as that is the most unique identifier.
- Phone Survey - This is the option to attach the lead to a phone survey.
After you have filled out all of your fields click the Add Web Form Button.
