How Does It Work?
There are a few components necessary to make this work. First, your company website must support php and ssh. Your IT department will be able to advise you correctly. Second, you must have an insidesales.com account. Although you may not be using our system for your CRM needs, we do use our system to push the data to whatever system you might be using. Third, you need inbound call capabilities. We will be setting up an IVR (inbound call menu) and directing those calls to the appropriate representatives.
Step One:
Your Insidesales.com account will be set up. This will be done mostly behind the scenes by your Account Manager. We will need to know the average number of concurrent visitors your site has. This will allow us to allocate enough phone numbers to your account for distribution among those visitors.
Step Two:
If your company has an account with Omniture, we can help you set up your account so all the data we track is pushed to SiteCatalyst as well. This process is relatively simple and adds significant value to the product.
Step Three:
We configure the data to be pushed to the required places. Weather you use the Insidesales CRM or Salesforce we can configure everything to push to the right system.
Step Four:
The required JavaScript and php files will be installed on your site. Most find it helpful to install on a beta site first to test the process. Once everything has been tested, it is ready to be pushed to your live site.

This process can be done in a very short time with the right people involved. Once installed, visitors to your site will see their own unique phone number. When they call this number, all the analytics we have been tracking while they were on your site will be pushed, in real time, to a waiting salesperson. Experience has shown this to make inbound sales calls more effective. Salespeople do not have to dig for what someone is interested in anymore. This shortens the amount of time on each call, allows them to talk to more people, and increases their productivity.
