Using the PowerDialer for salesforce.com

Navigate to the Leads tab.

Leads Screen

1. Select the leads you would like to call by checking the box to the left of the record.
2. When you have selected all the leads you would like to populate your calling list, find and click the grey Create List button at the top of the leads list.
3. Give the list a descriptive name. A good name will remind you who is in that list days later when you have forgotten you even made the list.
4. Choose Individual or Company visibility. Most users should choose individual visibility; unless you are creating a list other people will be calling on as well.
5. Check the International Check box if you are creating a list of International numbers to call.
6. Click Save. The dialer will create the list and give you a confirmation once it has been saved.

Click the Manage Lists button, located next to the Create List button

You will get a screen pop that will display all lists available for calling, the option to purge or load a list, how many leads are in the list, and statistics about each list. Click on Load to load a list.

A pop screen will load asking you to log in if you have not done so, and designate the phone number you will be calling from. This must be a 10 digit direct dial number.

DialerLogin

When the dialer loads you will see one of three options:

1. If no dialer lists have been created, you will see a blank dialer screen with no options to choose an initiative.

2. If you only have one dialer list that has been created, it will default to that list with no option to choose another initiative.
3. If you have more than one initiative created the dialer will default to the last initiative you worked in. To choose another list, click Select Initiative and choose the list you would like from the pop screen.
