Welcome to the new ideas section of the InsideSales.com Community. Here you will find suggestions for enhancements to the system that have been submitted by both actual users of the system and employees of InsidSales.com.

You can vote up ideas that you like and vote down ideas that you don't like (using the up and down arrows). You must be logged in to vote! The features that receive the highest ratings will regularly be implemented when we roll out new versions of the software.

Protect Status/Callback/Contact Info of a lead when called by someone other than the owner

If John Smith (lead) is owned by Mary Poppins, and an agent other than Mary Poppings calls John Smith.

RECURRING TASK-REMINDERS

It would be beneficial to multiple departments and most likely many businesses to have a simple recurring task reminder feature.

Advanced Search across leads and case tabs

It would be very helpful to be able to run search queries across both lead and case tabs. This would make it much more feasible to extract data from the system.

Alphabetize Field Names in Leads

The field names should be sorted in alphabetical order.

Auto Save Feature

When I upload a call list, I would like the edits I make within a contact to be automatically saved before moving on to the next call.

Initiative Alphabetizer

the dialer initiatives should have the same program code applied to the inititative names like the campaign names have so they are alphabetized

Assign Product Categories to a Process

Sales teams may sell different products to different types of prospects/customers. I would like to assign product categories to a process so that the reps can only add products they sell to a deal.

Assign Account Types to a Process

Similar to the way in which a Lead Status or Deal Stage are assigned to a Process to make it available to certain groups, it would be useful to do the same for Account Types.

Custom Tab Order

Would like to have the ability to customize the tab order in the layout by user.

File Lockout

If a record is already open, do not allow another user to open the same record.
