Welcome to the new ideas section of the InsideSales.com Community. Here you will find suggestions for enhancements to the system that have been submitted by both actual users of the system and employees of InsidSales.com.
You can vote up ideas that you like and vote down ideas that you don't like (using the up and down arrows). You must be logged in to vote! The features that receive the highest ratings will regularly be implemented when we roll out new versions of the software.
If you have an idea that you think would make this system great, use the "Submit an Idea" link in the Main Menu bar to the left and fill out the form. Upon review your suggestion will be placed on this page and users will be able to start voting on your idea.
Sorting in the Calendar
The Calendar list is the most useful feature for me in your software. I am
there most of my day.
It's hard to use your system because of luck of certain features:
Have calendar permissions separate from data view permissions
Some managers would like to give users access to other's calendar but not their data.
Add record fields to calendar view
It would be nice to be able to add fields from records on the calendar page when view their related tasks and events.
Clickable Link in Merge Duplicate
When using the merge duplicate tool it would be very helpful if the duplicates were clickable so as to pull up the lead/account/contact to make changes quickly.
Check for duplicate on import for any phone
Most of our leads have more than one phone number to contact them.
More phone fields for duplicate checking
Add any/all phone fields to the merge duplicate tool to "field to match on" We use more than just the phone and mobile phone...
Dialer Action Notifications
When you use features of the dialer, such as leaving a voicemail, you receive a notification that the action was completed.
Programmable Keyboard Hot Keys
The ability to program one or more of your keys on your keyboard to execute a task once pressed.
Add shortcut links to Dialer for common callback times
A huge help would be to on the dialer interface, have one or more shortcut links for specific callback times.
For example, 'call back in 1 hr, 'call back tomorrow'
"Save and Close" button for cases layout
A "save and close" button for a case would be very helpful. We often have to save a case and then wait for it to load and then close it. It just slows down the process.
