Welcome to the new ideas section of the InsideSales.com Community. Here you will find suggestions for enhancements to the system that have been submitted by both actual users of the system and employees of InsidSales.com.
You can vote up ideas that you like and vote down ideas that you don't like (using the up and down arrows). You must be logged in to vote! The features that receive the highest ratings will regularly be implemented when we roll out new versions of the software.
If you have an idea that you think would make this system great, use the "Submit an Idea" link in the Main Menu bar to the left and fill out the form. Upon review your suggestion will be placed on this page and users will be able to start voting on your idea.
Merge Contacts into Contacts
Expand merging capabilities to Contacts allowing a contact to have all notes, cases, tasks, and other information to be merged into a neighboring contact.
Accounts: Show Number of Cases Per Page
A filter that will show only the number of cases the user wants to view on the account page.
Events: Email Notification Upon Cancellation, Deletion, or Schedule Change
When events are cancelled, deleted, or schedule is changed the user is not notified unless they check the event on their schedule.
Events: Email all Attendees from Events
Add the ability to email event attendees while creating your event or after creation. With this ability you could easily email your attendees and assign them roles and tasks for the event.
Pop Up Reminder for Tasks and Events
Allow the option to use pop up reminders for tasks and events to keep you on schedule and organized. Example, you login and a task is due today by a certain time, you get a reminder by pop up.
Manage Layouts With Employee Assignments
Under the admin tab, manage layout groups, along with the groups there would be a list of employees and what group they belong to.
Edit Saved Searches
You cannot edit a saved search, you have to delete it first and then recreate it if you wish to name the search identical.
Track Notes On Activity Report
Currently you can track user activity on accounts, leads, contacts, deals, cases, events, and tasks. Possible usage for tracking note modifications, additions, and deletion.
Quick Tasks and Events
Instead of creating one event or task at a time, allow multiple to be created at once. Example, have a to do list layout that allows multiple tasks or events to be listed and configured.
Rename Email Manager
Under the administrator tab, rename Email Manager to Email/Fax Manager. This could help those learning the system understand functionality faster.
